Pynzenyk Victor
Was born on April 15-th, 1954 in Smoglovicia village, Transcarpathian region.
Viktor Pinzenyk has a huge working experience in the government.
October 1992 – august 1993 – holds the post of the minister of economics of Ukraine and the vice-premier in economic questions.
October 1994 – August 1995 - Pinzenyk being Ukraine MP holds the post of the first vice-premier, and then – vice-premier (till April 1997).
1991 - 2005 – Ukraine MP.
2001 – one of the initiators of the Nasha Ukraina block creation.
The chairman of the party Reforms and Order. Now it is the part of the Yulia Tymoshenko block.
February 2005 - August 2006 - minister of finances of Ukraine in the Yulia Tymoshenko government.
December 2007 - became the minister of finances of Ukraine again when Yulia Tymoshenko was re-elected a prime-minister.
1991 - 2005 – Viktor Pinzenyk worked in the parliament, but he confesses that prefers working in the government. “The best period of my life is connected with my work in the parliament. I know this job. I know what to do”(Korrespondent, January 2003).
It looks like Yulia Tymoshenko also thinks so. In the economic block of the current government Viktor Pinzenyk is the only representative of the BYT leader old team.
In the traditional rating of the Korrespondent magazine TOP-100 of the most influential people of the country, published in august 2008, Viktor Pinzenyk takes 41-st place.
Viktor Pinzenyk is an honored doctor of the National University Kiev-Mogyla academy, honored economist of Ukraine since April 2004. The author of more than 400 articles and books.
His wife Maria is an economist. They have three children: daughter Olga (1981), Julia (1989), son Vladimir (1993).
