Joint-Stock Company "Ukrainian radio systems" (trade mark WellCOM) is founded in 1995 for the purpose of the promotion of high technologies in the field of telecommunications on the market of Ukraine. At the moment of its creation, its founders were the Fund of business cooperation "Ukraine" and the Fund of state property of Ukraine, presented КRRТ.

For today network GSM "URS" covers 150 settlements of Ukraine, in the number which are all regional centres, regional industrial centres, resort cities and settlements, transport knots and a number of the basic highways. The company steps up works on the expansion of radio covering territory. Almost weekly new settlements appear on the card of network action of GSM JSC “URS”.

On all network of JSC "URS" an access to services of data transmission in GPRS report - the mobile Internet, MMS, WAP is given to subscribers.

For subscribers of the company a number of additional services, such as informing on the passed calls "Who called", informing on activation of phone numbers, with which it was earlier impossible to contact "WhenBack", transfer of means between subscribers "Tel2Tel", "VIP-number", the notification about the condition of the user's account in a mode online, information and entertaining services on the basis of the dynamic STK-menu, etc., is available. In all tariff plans of the "URS" operator a payment for the establishment of connections is absent.

The company has founded branches and representations in 26 regional centres of Ukraine. For the purpose of quality of service improvement, the company opens own service centres, which operate already in 11 cities. The distributory network of JSC "URS" includes more than 6,5 thousand dealer operational points, across all Ukraine where subscribers can get starting packages "MOBI" and vouchers for account replenishment. The Information centre, and also IVR – service, which gives the chance to get technical help and consultations without connection establishment with operators of the Information centre, operates round the clock for support of JSC "URS" subscribers.

"The Ukrainian radio systems" also give services of the international roaming to in 58 countries and co-operates with 85 operators. The structure of GSM - networks of "Ukrainian radio systems" includes 4 switching centres (in the cities of Kiev, Kharkov, Lvov, Dnepropetrovsk) and more than 700 base stations.
